The focus of this issue is Paediatric Sports Medicine. The issue highlights the importance of physical activity and the development of a healthy lifestyle in childhood and adolescence. Other papers examine sports medicine issues in young athletes, as well as the role of exercise in the management of certain diseases in childhood and adolescence. Maintaining fluid balance in young athletes is examined in the Sports Nutrition section, and the imaging of sports injuries in children and Osteochondritis dissecans in adolescence are discussed under Sports Radiology.
